Artists from Henderson’s City Lights Art Gallery are hosting a local art sale Saturday\, August 17\, in The Venue at the The Pass Casino located at 140 Water St.\, Henderson\, NV 89015. It may be hot\, but there will be a lot of cool art in a cool venue! Step out of the heat and enjoy some time looking for that special piece to accent your home. You’ll find acrylic\, oil\, and water paintings\, ink drawings\, sketches\, photography\, mixed media\, pottery\, jewelry\, and more! \nFeatured artists include Paul Smyth\, Linda Brunswold\, Chris Mazglad\, Merret Stufflebeen\, Kern Greewald\, Clevelle Scherer\, Carolyn Stillwell\, Keith McDonald\, Barbara Weinacht\, Lani McCusker\, Thomas Haggerty\, Lin Berger and more. \nPaul Smyth\, a member of the City Lights Board says\, “guests can expect to find some great art at a good value from local artists.” \nThe show starts at 10:00 a.m.\, Saturday\, August 17\, 2024\, and runs until 4:00 p.m.  Entry is free and you’ll have an opportunity to meet the artists. Afterwards you can grab some lunch or dinner at the many fine restaurants along Henderson’s Water Street District. And don’t be shy to stop by the City Lights Art Gallery to see even more local works of art. \nCity Lights Art Gallery is a non-profit art gallery with the goals to financially assist art education among children and seniors\, generate funding for art related public charity projects\, teach students how to professionally present their artwork\, and provide classes for students of all ages.
