DESCRIPTION:The gallery will be taking in artwork to display for the 2nd Quarter of the year (must be a member to display during a Quarter- see Membership section if interested in joining).  The display will be up from April 5th to June 1st.  If you had artwork in the Spring Show\, it needs to be picked up March 31st or April 1st from noon to 4 pm. \nAll members showing in the gallery are required to sign up for shifts this quarter which covers the next 3 months (April – June).  If displaying a 1/2 panel\, one shift a month is required\, full panel two shifts are required.  The signup calendar will be available at art intake in the gallery for your convenience.  If you have any questions\, please contact the Gallery Director.

DESCRIPTION:The gallery will be taking in artwork to display for the 2nd Quarter of the year (must be a member to display during a Quarter- see Membership section if interested in joining).  The display will be up from April 5th to June 1st.  If you had artwork in the Spring Show\, it needs to be picked up March 31st or April 1st from noon to 4 pm. \nAll members showing in the gallery are required to sign up for shifts this quarter which covers the next 3 months (April – June).  If displaying a 1/2 panel\, one shift a month is required\, full panel two shifts are required.  The signup calendar will be available at art intake in the gallery for your convenience.  If you have any questions\, please contact the Gallery Director.

DESCRIPTION:SUBJECT: City Lights Art Gallery’s Featured Artist February 2023 \nRECEPTION: Sunday\, February 12th\, from 2 to 4 pm \nCity Lights Art Gallery is proud to announce February’s Featured Artist: Chris Mazglad and her exhibit “Now What?” \nYou never know what you’ll see next but before she’s done\, she’s usually asking\, “Now What?” Chris Mazglad enjoys creating art across a wide spectrum. Whether it’s a commissioned portrait where realism reigns\, an abstract meant to inspire the imagination or the use of new and unusual materials on more traditional subjects\, Chris is game. She uses oil\, acrylic or any medium that will create an eye-catching piece. She also likes to experiment with different substrates to create functional art. \nOriginally from Michigan\, Mazglad has been a life-long lover of art and great design. With no early art training\, Mazglad began painting when she retired in order to ensure a continuing stream of fresh\, inspirational artwork. Her award-winning work can be found in private\, public\, and commercial venues across the country. She enjoys painting in groups twice weekly to continue to hone her skills and be energized by other artists. \nShe enjoyed a 30+ year career with General Motors that allowed her to experience places and people worldwide.
